White Oak Soap Rest

Extend the life of your favorite bar soap with this white oak soap rest. Wide, deep grooves allow water to drain away and air to circulate around your bar of soap, extending its useful life. No more “gucky” soap! Each soap rest is sanded and left unfinished - no oils to go rancid, no finish to flake off.

And don't worry about this soap rest rotting away like pine and other species of wood will. White oak is the strongest, most rot-resistant wood commercially available in North America and will last for years. This soap rest will be around for a long time!

If a lot of soap residue does build up on the soap rest, simply toss it into the laundry!

I call these soap rest. Some soap makers call them soap rest, soap decks or decks for short. What ever you call them, your soap will last longer when its not sitting in water!

Not sure what size you need? Print this pdf of all the sizes available. Note: Some computer monitors may make the rest appear larger or smaller so I recommend printing the page.
White Oak Soap Rest Original Size

Original Size

This was the first soap rest I made some 15 years ago. The Original size, 3/4 thick, 2" wide and 3-5/8" long (18x51x92mm) fits most of the smaller bars of soap you see sold at craft shows and at the super market. Available in several quantities; 3, 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100. (...order)

White Oak Soap Rest Grande Size

Grande

The Grande size of white oak soap rest fits larger bars of soap and is the second most popular size I sell. It is 3/4" thick, 2-5/8" side and 4-1/8" long (18x67x105mm). (...order)

DO TO SKYROCKETING PRICES IN THE HARDWOOD MARKET I HAVE TO LIMIT THE SIZES I OFFER AND INCREASE THE PRICES ON SOAPREST. HOPEFULLY THE MARKET WILL RETURN TO 'NORMAL' AND I CAN LOWER THE PRICES.
